Sandra Martin was born in Mallorca, Spain, and is a business and social entrepreneur as well as an international advisor to companies. Ms. Martin is also the CEO of Co-founder of U.S. Training Alliance, an international company that helps young leaders to intern at the best in-class companies and entities in the United States, and Chef Training U.S., the first specialized program in gastronomy that fosters young professionals to fulfill their potential. Previously, Ms. Martin founded U.S. Trade Association, a strategic advisory firm providing market internationalization and expansion advice to European companies entering the U.S. market. From 2008 until 2015, she was the Communications, Events and Exchange Program Manager at the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce in New York. Ms. Martin worked as well at CartiotipoMH5, a lobbying and PR consultancy specialized in regulated sectors, and the City Council of Calvià, both located in Spain. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca and a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Windesheim University, the Netherlands. Ms. Martin currently splits her time between New York, Spain, and Miami where she lives with her husband and two children. ​

Mamen Sala is a journalist born in Zaragoza, Spain, who has spent most of her life in Barcelona, Spain, a city that she loves. Mamen loves to study, that’s why she has two bachelor’s degrees, one in Journalism and another one in Criminology. Her communications skills brought her to work for 12 years as a TV reporter for different Spanish TV channels, such as the Spanish Government TV – TVE- and the biggest private Spanish TV channel - Antena 3. Six years ago, she moved to Los Angeles, CA, and started to develop another passion: Marketing and Communications in the culinary industry. She completed her formal education with a Post-Grade Certificate in Digital Marketing from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles). After 3 years of building professional experience in Los Angeles, she moved to New York City where she started working as a Marketing Specialist in the culinary field for several restaurants. During this time, she discovered that she could help restaurants with the recruitment process and create a more diverse and multicultural environment. In 2017, she and her partner, Sandra Martin, decided to build Chef Training US (DBA of US Training Alliance), the first specialized program that helps foreign professionals to do a paid internship in hotels and restaurants located in the USA. Mamen is not only the co-founder of U.S. Training Alliance, but also the US Correspondent for Mediaset (Spanish Media Outlet) and France 24. She loves to work out early in the morning every day, travel and is in love with the ocean.​
